The robbery took place around 9:23 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, at the shop on Quality Street, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
A lone gunman entered the Subway and demanded money from the employees, Weir said.
The employees complied with the gunman’s demands before be fled the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash, he added.
Police learned that the suspect is a light-skinned black man, approximately 5-foot-6, dressed in dark clothing, who displayed a handgun.
The man fled the store in a southerly direction. No injuries were reported regarding this incident, Weir said.
